just substitute the Taxi Driver for the "Transformers: Autobot" (i couldn't resist not having both)

so which do you prefer...with the "Death Proof" / "Planet Terror" slipcover or without?

those all r1?

junyab 10-26-07 12:25 PM

Going need some time to get my collection together to take a pic.. But some new steelbook items listed on Futureshop

Bourne Ultimatum

Ratatouille , what a plain looking cover

Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End , how I just need a steelcase for the Black Pearle to complete the trilogy of steelbooks..
Later

LorenzoL 10-27-07 06:29 AM

Thanks for the info.

I love the simplicity of the Ratatouille cover.

OldBoy 10-27-07 12:25 PM

would anybody in Canada and accessible to a Futureshop be willing to be my lifeline for Steelbooks? i am specifically interested in upcoming "Ratatouille" and "Pirates of Caribbean".

i am willing to pay, but not something exorbitantly over. just one fellow dvdtalker helping out another, possibly?? i have lots of trades in exchange forum as well.

i would be so greatful and all. lmk by e-mail or pm.

thanks in advance.

johnsun 10-27-07 01:08 PM

Is the first post considered the "official" update list? If so, the anime title Hellsing Ultimate have a few more editions..

Vol 2 comes with an artbook in a slipcover
Vol 3 comes with a Anderson relief bust (AFAIK)

Vol 2 and 3 also comes in a steelbook case by itself with no artbook/bust, exclusive to TWEC

Vol 1 is availiable as a steelbook case only at Bestbuy..

hmmm... definitely want in on that Bourne steelbook if its available here in the US... but it's gonna bother me that only ONE film in a trilogy has a steelbook... it'll look so awkward. plus, i kinda wanted to get the jason bourne collection (4-disc)... decisions, decisions...

Jonno2006 10-28-07 10:41 PM

Holy crap i just checked out the new futureshop steelbooks! Anyone else think they're going steelbook crazy?! Not that i mind or anything since i love to buy me some steelbooks but wow!

But yeah like someone else said, while i would love to get the POTC and Ultimatum steelbooks but it's gonna look weird with the other non steelbook editions of the previous movies!

Bah whatever, i'll be buying those movies anyways so might as well be the steelbook kind!

Anyone else think that the Ratatouille will be seperate, like Cars last year?

w0ot for futureshop and steelbooks huh? :D

My poor poor wallet though! :(

Last year, the Cars steelbook was given out at checkout when the CSR rang up the movie.. Since it listed on the website with a SKU/Product Number/UPC whatever, it'll come with the DVDs itself..

My question is whether it'll be shrinked wrapped side by side with the normal slipcover/case like the Jungle Book..

The prices that you are seeing on the website, for the Steelbooks, have been discounted by 10% for the Friends and Family sale.
But you better act fast, as the sale ends Monday Oct 29 9:00pm.

Jonno2006 10-29-07 01:13 PM

Here's a pic of my steelbook collection, which is not much compared to you guys but still growing! I would have much more steelbooks if i bought steelbooks of movies i already own or movies i didn't like THAT much to buy.

Canada Russia '72 Steelbook $10.00 @ Future Shop

For Hockey Fans out there, you can pickup, one of the first Steelbooks to hit Canada in 2006.

The Canada Russia '72 Hockey Game in a three disc Steelbook for $10.00 @ Future Shop. This can only be done in store as it has a sticker on it, tagged, 2@$20.00, otherwise, it is $12.99 online.

YMMV

OldBoy 10-31-07 04:57 PM

FutureShops hopefully near you is your best bet on the upcoming releases. the older releases would be as hard to get as sucking on Pamela Anderson's teets especially if your name doesn't rhyme with Jommy or Pid Stock!
