Just to confirm, I saw a bunch of Beetlejuice keepcases at my local Wal-Mart too. Also Unforgiven (single-disc Clint Eastwood Collection version).

Just wondering, has the Salem's Lot miniseries (old Tobe Hooper ver.) on DVD has been upgraded to an amaray case? i'm planning on buying this for a christmas present and it'd be nice if there was an amaray option instead of the snapper one. i know most warner bros. titles haven't been upgraded yet, but still, i'm asking just in case someone's seen it in an amaray.

Hey guys can you help me out here?

Desperately trying to find these movies in keepcases, all I can find is snappers. Doesn't matter if it's a Canadian or Region 1 DVD, though Region 2 I'll consider. As long as I can get it in keepcase!

Deep Blue Sea (would kill to have this in keepcase)
Interview with a Vampire (think I may have found it online, but im not sure)
In the Mouth of Madness (help!)
American Outlaws

Please help!

The master list is in dire need of an update. It hasn't been revised since July and it was missing a bunch of stuff back then too.

To make things easier, here's all the stuff I noticed that should be added to the list:

WARNER BROS.

Batman (single-disc)
Batman Returns (single-disc)
Beetlejuice
The Blue Collar Comedy Tour
Caddyshack (20th AE)
Cats & Dogs
Chasing Liberty (WS)
Clifford's Really Big Movie
The Color Purple (single-disc)
GoodFellas (single-disc)
The Green Berets
The Green Mile (single-disc)
Heat (single-disc)
Logan's Run
The Matrix
Night Shift
Ocean's Eleven
The Omega Man
Outland
The Perfect Storm
Rio Bravo (single-disc)
Rosewood
The Searchers (single-disc)
See Spot Run
Selena (single-disc)
The Shawshank Redemption (single-disc)
Soylent Green
Superman (2001 release)
Superman II (2001 release)
Superman III (2001 release)
Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (2001 release)
True Romance (single-disc)
Unforgiven (single-disc)
A Walk to Remember

NEW LINE

Boogie Nights (Platinum Series)
In the Mouth of Madness
A Nightmare on Elm Street 2 (red cover version)
A Nightmare on Elm Street 4 (red cover version)
A Nightmare on Elm Street 5 (red cover version)
Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare (red cover version)
Wes Craven's New Nightmare (red cover version)

HBO HOME VIDEO

2 Days in the Valley (now a Paramount release in a keepcase)

IMAGE ENTERTAINMENT

Dreamscape

Oh and you should probably qualify these better since there are multiple versions on the market:

Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls (1997 release)
Blade Runner (DC)
Christmas Vacation (SE)
Dumb and Dumber (1997 release)
Full Metal Jacket (2001 FS version)
Gremlins (SE)
The Wedding Singer (1998 release)

The 2001 releases of the Superman movies are available in keepcases? Are the covers any different?

No, they're the same.

My bad; you're right, When Nature Calls has always been WS, it's Pet Detective that was FS. Corrected my post.

And what was the deal with Natural Born Killers? I saw that someone mentioned that as well. Wasn't it released by Lion's Gate and then by Warner as part of the Oliver Stone Collection series? But wasn't the Lion's Gate version always in a keepcase? So was it the Warner followup version that originally came in a snapper that got upgraded it to a keepcase?

IIRC it was at Wal-Mart. The ones I remember seeing were Superman I and IV.

Wow, cool I'll have to look for them. Don't care much about IV, though. Anyone know if it's still the 2-sided disc for Superman The Movie, or did they do a Sony and drop one of the sides?

Also, price?

...by the way, just thinking about this. Joliom, are you sure you're not referring to the SEs of Superman III and IV? Those are in Wal-Mart's $5 bin... what I'm looking for is the 2001 edition of the first movie with the original "S" in the sky cover, but in a keepcase.

No, it was the original 2001 releases. Although, I haven't seen them at Wal-Mart (or anywhere else for that matter) in awhile. All I ever see now are the new Special/Deluxe Edition versions. I think Warner might have discontinued them all. I noticed that Amazon only has I & II available for sale (maybe the last of their stock?).

Interesting... well, it's not a huge deal, but I'd love to find one of those. Keep me posted if you see one again. If anybody's got one they want to trade or sell, PM me.
