Looking for covers Revised 9-16
Hi everyone.
I just got into this custom cover thing just as the big site was shut down by the lawers. Lucky me.
I'm hoping to replace just about all my cumbersome box sets with slim cases (and a few other ugly covers I just don't like) and I'm hoping some of you will be nice enough to point me to some custom cases.
I don't have much to trade other than some custom Back to the Futures and Jonny Quests I whipped up. I'm working on some double disc cases for Buffy and Angel too.
I hope you'll be nice enough to lend a hand with the following want list (which I'll update from time to time).
I'm heartened by the cover community being SO helpful in this quest! A few of you (you know who you are) have gone beyond and above for me. I can't thank you enough!
A few things still elude me, but this list is a lot smaller than before!
I have a Mission to get everything into single or double slim cases. (Of course, I can compress the spines to make them fit). Also, most of the fan covers seem to be designed better. I really like Poster art and matching series sets (like those outstanding Zinema Bond covers).
My want list by Category:
1. Covers that don't scan well (or badly designed):
Roger Rabbit
Hard Day's Night (2-disc set)
Simpsons
Airport Terminal Pack
The Human Face (John Cleese Documentary)
MI-5
Dracula Legacy
Frankenstein Legacy
Wolfman Legacy
Escape From N.Y. SE
2. Box sets that I'd like to convert into Single or Double Slim cases.
Penn & Teller Bullsh*t
Animated Batman
Original Trek (I may do this one myself if no one else is game)
SCTV
Freaks & Geeks
Rocky & Bullwinkle
Monk
Spider-Man '67
Man Show
Flintstones
Outer Limits (I may do this myself unless you know any!)
Rambo Trilogy
Dark Angel
Ken Burns Civil War
Cosmos
3. Wouldn't mind designed matching series covers for Once Apon a Time in Mexico, Spy Kids, Rambo, etc.
Thanking you in advance for any help you may be able to provide.
Lance
Of course, I want to see the designs first. Some are more brilliant than others!
Thanks for your time!

Since Lancelot made the request, if anyone has scans of the Angel and Buffy sets, I'd greatly appreciate it if you sent them to me too.

Buffy and Angel covers
Since I've had no real luck with the Buffy and Angel sets, I'll probably get around to doing them myself since the DVD releases have enough decent character portraits, etc. to mix up the covers a bit.
My format of choice is single of double slim cases. The TV shows tend to be doubles....as these will.
I'll post here again in a few weeks when I finish Buffy 1-6 and Angel 1-4

Yeah, I found that site a few days ago. Unfortunately, the don't have scans of Buffy Seasons 4-6 or of Angel Season 3 & 4.
Their Buffy customs don't really look all that great either.

I'm resigned to cobble the Buffy, Angel, Babylon 5, and X-Files ones myself. Nothing too fancy. Just reformatting the existing package artwork into slim double cases.
The tough ones to do (or find) are the unscannable chrome covers like Oz, Sopranos, The Others, ID4, Roger Rabbit, and so on.

Sure. It may take me a while to get around to it, but when I do, I'll announce it here. I'm not the designer most people here seem to be, but they will be usable.

Did some covers
Hi everyone. I did some customs for the following:
Sopranos 1-4
Nip/Tuck
Buffy 1-6
Angel 1-4
Fawlty Towers
Jonny Quest
Back to the Future
Black Adder
6 Feet Under
They aren't anything fancy, like some of the hotshot designers out there. but have matching and numbered spines, Episode titles, etc.
They are all designed for slim single or slim double...but you can probably stretch the spines to fit standard cases.
If you want to see a sample, let me know and I'll be happy to send it.
This community has been very nice to me and the least I can do is make my own stuff available.
