Speed Racer DVD packaging
The first Speed Racer dvd (episodes 1-11) initially featured a cool rubber tire packaging. Later versions were just made of paper. Now the new Speed Racer dvd (episodes 12-23) packaging initially came out with a push-button feature that animated the Mach 5 with lights and and the theme music. But now I see at Target and at K-Mart it's a revised packaging without the music and lights. So if you want the special packaging for the second dvd, better look for it quick!

Me and a few friends got asked to leave Circuit City a few weeks back because we lined up all the Speed Racer Vol. 2 DVDs on a shelf and went through and continuously played the music on all of them

My lights and music stopped working on the Vol 2 Speed Racer. I'm sure the battery died, but there does not appear to be a way to get inside the cover without actually cutting through. Anyone else have this problem, or a solution?
