Anime Art Box Question......I NEED HELP!!
Okay so I'm an idiot and I don't know jack about anime, but thanks to my girlfriend I'm getting better. Anyhow I wanted to buy her a couple series that I thought looked cool so I picked up Gunslinger Girl Vol. 1 and Elfen Lied Vector 1.........well when I got them I did some research to see if or when I could get the next discs in the series when I come to find out that you can buy "Starter Kits" that come with really nice art boxes...........I didn't know this.......damn!? so now I want to make sure she has the series complete and in boxes but I don't know how to get them without buying the damn first disk over again........so my question is,,,,,,,,
Does anyone here know how or where I may be able to get anime art boxes for series that I didn't originally buy them for???????
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Sometimes anime studios have some older empty boxes for sale at rightstuf.com, but it's infrequent and the choice is rather limited.
For new series such as Gunslinger Girl and Elfen Lied, you won't be able to buy the empty boxes for a long while, if available at all. If you still have the receipt and it's within the return policy, you may want to check if the store would let you exchange them for the boxed version and pay for the difference.
