How about Columbo - Season 1? Wife just bought a brand new copy, there was a pocket on the left end for inserts but with nothing in it. Just curious if the set is supposed to come with any inserts or docs at all, thanks.

Someone replied to this long ago that it had neither but if you mean the SE then it has both an 8 page booklet and, at one time, a slipcover. I've seen the slipcover on a used copy at a pawn shop.

I picked up Platoon SE yesterday and it didn't come with the advertised 8 page booklet. I know for a fact it used to come with it, so am I just unlucky or has it been discontinued? Apparently MGM keeps the inserts on the SEs. My Silence of the Lambs, Princess Bride and Rocky SEs all had booklets. Only Platoon is missing one. Anybody who can help much thanks in advance!

I had the same problem even though my dvd had a sticker that said it was included. I emailed MGM and they sent me a new one within a week! I'm sure they would have no problem sending you one, as I found their customer service excellent. (This was last summer and pre-Sony though)
