Awesome Z... 2 things... The text commentary isnt listed on Disc 1 and the trailers didnt make it on to the disc 2 as you put on your cover.

Nice work, Dr. Z.

Have you considered creating a consolidated spine image for the Trek films? I took your covers from the first 6 films and managed to cobble together something workable using a medium-res scan I found of the "Original Crew Movie Collection" box art. When lined up, my cases form this image:

I know you could do better.

I've updated the cover to reflect the correct disc features.
Josh, let me see what I can do with the consolidated spine.

Awesome! I'm sure you'll come up with something great.

Ideally, what I would personally like to see is one consolidated image for the Original Crew movies (1-6) and a separate image for the Next Generation movies (7-10). Single-width spines, preferably.

There might be some who'd prefer a single image for all 10 movies. I guess I'd be open to that too if enough people want it. Whatever you can do.

Here's the front for the upcoming Indy Bonus Disc:

A work in progress, the fron still needs tweaking but the cover as a whole should be ready tomorrow evening.

Indy bonus disc

Dr. Z,

The Indy bonus disc looks GREAT so far!!! Can't wait to download this baby!!

In a perfect world, Indy 4 will eventually hit theatres within the next 2 years. If it weren't for LUCAS, Indy 4 would be in the can right now ready for a 2005 summer release. He trashed Darabont's script and now it's up to Jeff Nathanson. His screenwriting credits include: Rush Hour 1 and 2, Speed 2 and Catch Me if u Can. Gee, I wonder how Lucas, Ford and Spielberg are going to feel about his script. Can u take a guess?

Just ranting. I've been waiting for Indy 4 for 12 years.

Indy bonus disc

Dr. Z,

The suspense is killing me Z on the Indy bonus disc. That's ok, it will be worth it in the end, as always.

Also, would u be able to do another version of your E.T. cover? I need for u to take your 3-disc custom and make one for the 4-disc (which would include the soundtrack). It would appear u would have to slightly change the front banner at the top/include cd sountrack in the special features window on back/also there is a typo in synopsis (unsurpased should be unsurpassed). Also, I remember u saying that u were going to update Drew's artwork on front. Did u do that yet? Anyway......if u could do this, that'd be great. I figured, it wouldn't take u too long to do anyway with these minor changes. Let me know.

Thanx buddy,
Kenny C.

I just needed to get some screenshots from the bonus disc for the back of the Indy cover. It's proving a bit harder than I expected to find a nice shot from one of the many supplements on the disc that I'm happy with. I also want to tweak the edgework on the front image.

The E.T. cover update should be a minor one, like you said, so I can get that done tonight as well. I have indeed already updated the existing covers with higher resolution scans of Drew's artwork. I just neder updated the preview image on the website to reflect this.

For those waiting for Superman III and IV covers, I'd like to continue with the Bob Peak-esque front cover scheme, but have not been able to find any artwork that would work with these two films. That's not to say there's nothing out there. If anyone has ideas, lemme know.

E.T. 4-disc custom

Hey Z,

I forgot to mention, when u do update the 4-disc E.T. custom, can u make it sized for a standard 4-disc alpha size (3508 X 2175)? Also, did u get this DREW SRTUZAN artwork from his hardcover poster book? I just bought one and I noticed it's in there. Just curious. That would probably be your best bet for a hi-res pic of that poster if u have a good scanner. I just bought the EPSON 4180 and LUV it!!!

So if u could modify the ET cover the way I want, you'll make my day, Z.

Thanx buddy,
Kenny C.

First Contact is actually my next one after Indy and the quick 4-disc E.T. covers, and shouldn't take too long. I want to see if I can find some alternate poster art. I'll also put out the Generations cover with the standard poster art.

Kenny, the Struzan hardcover book was indeed the source I used for cleaning up the artwork. I'm going to doublecheck and make sure I updated both E.T. discs. I can make the 4 disc at the 3508 X 2175 size.

Are the "y" and the "o" really that much harder to type?

Okay, the Indy Bonus Disc is up and running, although I think I'm going to take another stab at the back in the near future. I'm happy with the front, though. Here it is:

You can get it here.
