I'm Back
Hello all, I am indeed alive!
There's nothing quite like being called by a studio's legal department to put the fear in you. After sitting on the sidelines for a while, I've decided to start putting out covers again, although Fox-related covers are off the list. I figure that finishing the Trek series would be a good start.
Any requests?

He lives! Welcome back Doctor. Sorry to hear about the legal wrangling (and the loss of some covers), and my fingers are crossed it never happens again, for your peace of mind).
My only request is if you could finish the Superman series, if you're still interested, and maybe do that Indy bonus disc you had mentioned on your site.
Take care, and happy holidays!

Per my thread HERE [viewed by 81 with only 1 response], it'd be great if you could do a set of Studio Ghibli/Miyazaki covers..

I'm pretty close with my Star Trek: Generations and Indiana Jones Bonus Disc covers. Superman II and IV are proving more difficult as I want to match the front art style of 1 and 2, but am having trouble finding anything suitable.
Rogue588, is there one particular film from your list you'd prefer most?

I see 4 covers of yours which have the UPC (the Indiana Jones series doesn't need them). So, if you'd be as so kind as to provide alternate covers with being the only difference is that the UPC code is actually on the cover, that'd be most appreciated from me. Other than that, the covers are excellent and are very appealing to the eye.

Tron DVD Cover
Doc,
Love the covers featured on your own site. Do have a question though. . . as Tron is a Disney property and they've been responsible for shutting down another site due to (alleged) copyright infirngement, does that mean you will not be releasing your own version of the DVD cover?
On another subject, I hope somebody will eventually convert a Matrix Revisited cover. Please?
Mike

Thanks for bumping this, crimsonguard. It slipped by me.
Well, I suppose it would depend on whichever one you have the most elements for. However, Kiki's Delivery Service would be my first choice.

Hey all, I've slipped back out of my most recent self-induced coma to let you know that I'll have a cover for Trek Generations done this week. For the moment, here's the front and spine:
As for Tron, I had been working on a cover a while back, but because I don't want to be murdered dead by the folks at Disney, I've sadly halted that.
ivelostr2, if you make sure to remind me, I can modify my Blade Runner cover into a non-director's cut version.
Rogue588, I'll see what I can do regarding Kiki's Delivery Service. Again, it's all up to what elements I can find for it.
crimsonguard, I can add a Matrix Revisited cover to the list of things to do...
DarkGryphon, part of the reason why I stopped putting UPC symbols on my covers (aside from it providing more space for the design) is that I want to make it as aparent as possible that these are replacement covers, and not something that could be bought. The UPC symbols make it seem like it's more of a legitamate cover and that gives me bootlegger/pirate heebie-jeebies, not to say that you are one or anything. I just don't want to come off looking like a cover warehouse for bootleggers. But that might just be the wuss in me speaking. Look at me, I've gone and done stared to ramble.
More to come!

Rammsteinfan, I dig your Trek TNG covers. I just was at your site and noticed how similar I made my front Generations cover to yours. I was originally goung to use the poster without the floating Kirk/Picard heads, but couldn't find a high-res image for the original "boldly go" poster.
I's like to include that other poster for the front as an alternate. Anyone know where I can find a larger version of this:
I'm also looking for a high-res of one of these:

I was trying to find those as well when I was doing them but no luck in finding the posters w/o the heads or the borg ship poster. I could only find small to medium sized images.
I just scanned the inserts from the older editions for my covers. The best i could do. I wish I could do the back covers as good as you do, cant wait to see your Generations one.

Updated First Contact cover to fix a typo and color corrected parts of the cover and brightened pieces that were too dark when printed.

Also updated the Insurrection cover above... its just a work in progress. I added the extras but they will be changed when the final disc comes out and I need to fix the description as well.
