Very nice, Doctor! Much better than what the studio is releasing.

BTW, I am using your Star Trek cover art for my special editions. Out of curiosity, which version of ST 4 are you using?

I've always been partial to the second one. Anyway, I love seeing the original poster art as big as it can get, without all the banners and borders and for a slim case. Keep it up!

Ric,

Thanks! I've always been partial to the 2nd cover as well. There's something about using alternate paster/promotional art that (at least for me) gives an almost new feel to the film.

Dr. Z

What program are you using to grab screenshots? I never seem to get anything too sharp by using PowerDVD. And most other programs don't even allow me to take screen shots at all. Maybe I should be setting my screen at a much higher resolution than 1025x768?

Ric,

My DVD player of choice is VideoLan Client, which is easy to find through Google. keep my monitor set to 1600x1200 for extra large screenshots.

Doc,

Just downloaded Solaris and Thin Red Line from your site.

Terrific work!

I know you used the original poster for TRL, but did you ever consider taking Adrien Brody's name off since his part was cut out?

Just wondering, that's all. It's no big deal.

You know, that would be a good thing to do. I'll see about getting that changed.

Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks!

Work on ST V is going fine. I'm looking to do a cover with the standard poster art, and another with alternate artwork, but I haven't been able to find anything. Does anyone know if there's anything out there worth using?

Superman III and IV are scheduled, but I keep on getting a little too scatterbrained. I'll bear down and pump out Trek V and then push on to the Superman covers.

Just be sure to keep nagging me!

Nag, Nag, Nag.....

As long as Trek V is out by October 14 I'll be happy.

(Having one "original" cover beside the rest of your great covers looks really weird..)

Great to hear. I have been holding off printing your Superman I and II covers incase you canned any plans for it, and didn't want a mis-matching set (regardless of how bad III and IV are).

No rush, just making sure they are still on the horizon

The Superman III and IV covers will be the next ones I'll tackle after Trek V. Speaking of which, I haven't found any sort of alternate poster art for it, except for the movie theater chair with a seatbelt. Anyone know if Bob Peak did any concept poster art for V?

Hey Dr. Z, You have some great covers, any chance you might do covers for the rest of The Apes films?

Thanks! I've been working on a cover for Escape, which I hope to get finished after the Trek V and Superman III & IV covers. The rest of the Apes sries will follow shorly after.

Excellent......!

The ONLY comment I have...and this is rather minor...is that the "Star Trek V" on the spine looks a little bit bigger than the first four of your custom covers.

Lining them up, this last entry tends to stand out a bit, but like I said this is a rather minor point....

Thanks again....looking forward to VI next year!

Hey Doc! V looks great!

However... I spotted two errors you might want to fix.

On the back, under "This Deluxe 2-Disc..."

The first bullet says "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home" - original theatrical verison.

Second bullet says "Commentary by Commentary by William Shatner and Liz Shatner"

Thought you'd want to know!
