Fonts.com has a cool function where you can find a font based on certain designs. Of course the search yields to all commercial fonts. Could be useful though.

I use CoverPro7.2 to print out all my covers. It is easy and does a beautiful job on cd, dvd and has 5 spots for customizing. Help is readily accessible. www.directlogic.com |
The Amray case at DVD Empire using the link above says:
This title is no longer available. I assume if it was backordered it'd say that. This makes it look like it's never coming back. |
I'm tired of taping that extra bit to the end of the paper when I want to print off a cover.. is there any way around it besides buying legal sized paper?
|
What local stores can I buy DVD Keep cases?

ALL read this carefully 'keep' it or 'print' it!
To get professional corners you have to make a tool that can be lightly hammered that will cut the paper when struck, I went to a hardware store with my problem. The manager said "this is what you need to do, take a 'hollow shaft of steel and cut with a saw or bend it with your pliers, it must fit the size of the hole of a strong screwdriver that will take some pounding", he also recommended that I use a permanent glue to keep the tool glued tightly together.
Once you have made that tool you hit the cover art you printed on all 4 corners on a soft board 'not' hardwood, all will be exactly alike and do the trick; it will look professional for 'every' corner will be 'match' each other. Some of you may laugh at my grammar but when it comes to serious projects, I go to the right man/woman with the 'expertice' who knows exactly what I need!:) |

That's way too much work. Just get a corner rounder punch like this http://store.scrapbook.com/pashcoropu.html |

A few months ago my apartment was flooded when the water heater broke. Unfortunately, more than a few of my DVDs were on the floor and were completely waterlogged. The insurance company had me send them to get "restored" but essentially all they did was return the DVDs in new cases without any of the front or back covers.
Is my only option now to print these out? Or are there any places you can actual buy the covers themselves from? |
DVDCoverart does a wonderful job of printing out covers. You can get the original cover and inserts, or you can choose a custom cover. They will look and feel like the ones that came with the DVD, some maybe better.
Hope this helps Randy |
Another great font site www.dafont.com/en

DVD Cases & Inserts
BJ's Wholesale Club sells 30 DVD cases with inserts for $14.99. You need a membership to buy there but it is the best deal I have seen on DVD cases in stores, as opposed to purchasing over the internet.

Wausau paper
Hi, I've tried using the wausau paper suggested and it did not exactly turn out like i'd expected. i used an epson r200 printer and tried to print a cover on it, but when it came out the ink was reeeeaaal blotchy, kind of like the paper didn't soak it in at all.
I was wondering if i am doing something wrong and if anyone else had this problem. since it was posted in this thread i assumed someone tried printing on it before posting and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. THANKS!! |
Question
I was wondering if this case would work for the extended LOTR covers from Rix Graphix, i'm not sure his custom covers work with this type of case, and if the insert is correct from InetDVD .
Thanks. |
