Will The Monkees Season Sets Ever Go Down in Price?

I would really like to buy these but at $60 a pop? That's crazy! Especially since I haven't seen this show in years. Will it ever go down, or does anyone know of a copy for cheaper than $50?

They are about $53 now at DDD. If they have another sale at the end of the year it could be 20% less. Otherwise both sets could be purchased for under $50 at Digitaleyes using some of the current coupons found in the bargain forum.

Technically, since inflation is at a low, but >0% rate, the value of a dollar will lessen over time while the MSRP will most likely stay constant.

I got them for 35 at the local Fred Meyers, so if you look around I'm sure you'll find a good deal somewhere.

I was going to suggest that as well. CH does not have season 2 available, but assuming you wanted other DVDs or sets the CH TV Club would be your best option. Here is a link with additional info:

That's the problem. I don't. Just the Monkees. Don't like TV enough to buy season sets.

I doubt the price will go down due to the obvious music licensing.

If it were lower, I would pick it up. Maybe at the next DDD sale. We shall see.
