The picture you have above shows the cover art for FOTNS 3, the Japanese version.

The only box set I know of for FOTNS is a Japanese release. You can view it here ---> http://us.yesasia.com/en/PrdDept.asp...ection-videos/

Not sure how much it is, but it'll be expensive. I think the set above goes for around $920, and that doesn't include shipping. Yikes.

2 questions:

1. Is the series as violent as the movie?
2. Are you talking about the 5 disc series available on netflix?

That series box is from the 80's and it's been discontinued back in 2002

Price: 100,000 JPY

100,000 JPY = 910.842 US Dollars

1. YES, FOTNS is all about Violence
2. The 5 disc series which you're talking about is from the 80's(manga.com) the one he posted is the complete 152 episodes.

I could'nt find the boxset from Japan and was hoping for manga to release it, but they stopped at dvd 5 then I was forced to buy bootlegs

The Good news is the New show will be released in Sept and I hope the dubbing is better than the old one.

Akira Kamiya's voice was the perfect voice for Kenshiro, he's been replaced in the new one

Sweet! I loved the over the top gore in the movie (does that make me a bad person?).

The excessive head busting was almost comical after a while but I'll pick this up.

There's a pic of one of the discs.

errr....

The 5 disc series one which you're talking about has nothing to do with this new one.

This is a completely N E W series 2004
