LOTR Return of King Extended edition?

I am bored.

What color do you think they will use for the packaging?

Green was for the first one and a reddish brown was used for the Two Towers.

they use the same color that they used for the keepcases of the corresponding theatrical edition

also, if you're bored, then that means you have time to do a search before you start a new thread cuz you have officially been elected the "King of the Starter of New Threads."

Peter Jackson stated a few weeks ago that he changed his mind about the color for the ROTK EE. He said he much prefered the color of the FOTR EE box. So rather than blue, the ROTK EE is going to be green again.

Boredom or not, you could've searched for this well-covered topic.

Anyway, there's no guessing involved. The two-disc edition is blue and the four-disc will be too.

Well, he did provide the new info that the first one was green and the second one reddish.

It will be blue.

I just got off the phone with Peter Jackson. He changed his mind again. He's announced a ROTK tie-in with Burger King. The case of the EE will be burger-brown, and will come with a paper crown with Aragorn's picture on it.

Sorry but I don't read 20 pages worth of posts to find out what I am looking for.

Also you need to use about 4 words for most search topics.

Well, it's not really our problem that you don't care to read the '20 pages' of talk and debate that went on over in the Return Of The King EE discussion thread. It seems that everbody else was able to use their time to be courteous and not spam the board with a completely useless thread, and posted in the right spot after looking properly for the thread. And what's even worse, is the fact that you are openly admitting that's the reason why you made this new thread. I'm sorry, but don't waste peoples time and space on the forum and thinking that you're better than the people who spent their time in that 20 pages of convo, and starting your own thread. A moderator will be along shortly to lock this... I'm sure.

mzupe...your sentiments are wholly backed up, but don't waste your time. this op likes to create these nonesense threads and will hardly if ever be heard from again in the same post. i am floored that the op actually wrote again. but he has done this time and time again on many boards with unfortunately no end in site.

Really? Because I just searched "ROTK color" and came up with 10 threads on this exact topic.

Make a little bit of an effort so you don't keep bumping other threads off the first page of the forum.

OK, well I haven't seen any thread speculating on the shape of the box. I'm guessing either a diamond or perhaps a geodesic dome.

I'm hoping for a clear package, with a clear disc, and absolutely no labeling. How friggin' SWEET would that be?

The ROTK EE will be in silver and black color to correspond with the release of the much anticipated Star Wars Trilogy set.

The reason behind such similar colors is to drive those Star Wars geeks to buying Return of the King EE too.

I was told personally by Peter Jackson that it was going to be a cougar color in honor of the starter of this thread - also, the special edition statuette would be of King Kong in anticipation of the next movie.

Doesn't matter to me since I watch the content of the disc not the outside of the box.
