Due to the lackluster sales of the Schindler's List collectors edition, ROTK EE will be reusing the clear plastic case from Schindler's List with the names on the list scratched out with a Sharpie, and ROTK EE written in crayon on the spine.

I know this for a fact, because I just got my advance copy of the EE from a very reputable seller on eBay (he told me himself how reputable he is).

From: You have moved into a dark place. It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
I wonder if the people who say they don't care at ALL about the packaging are completely full of shit or not.

If you don't like packaging in general, you can always store your DVDs in a binder and toss the packaging.

For those of you who said that you don't care about packaging: do you do this?

I'm just curious. I like nice packaging, as I tend to keep my discs in their original case.

I keep my discs in their original packaging. I don't spend time contemplating color schemes of fantastic cover art. When not in use the discs sit packed together on shelves. When in use the disc sits in my player and I sit in the dark watching the film.

I don't see how one has anything to do with the other. Just because someone doesn't care about the packaging doesn't mean that they'll discard a box... it just means that the box could be incredibly ugly and it wouldn't matter.
