Other - Black Hawk Down (Superbit), solely for the best-I-have-ever-seen PQ on a DVD.

Simpsons Season 4- Best season ever, and unlike season 3, the menus and extras don't disappoint.

Bingo. This is definitely one of the best DVD ever.

Edit - If this was released on the 1st quarter than I vote for the Monster Legacy set.

Another vote for Walt Disney Treasures: Tomorrowland.

In the past, I think that some of the Treasures have received too much attention for what they delivered but I think a strong case can be made for Tomorrowland as well as On the Front Lines.

Certainly their absence makes this poll questionable as to its merit. Don't have The Leopard yet but certainly it has drawn much more attention since release than Lower Depths.

Putting the Monster Legacy Box collections together also will bias the results i.e. whch collection is someone voting for? That would be like lumping all the Disney Treasures together.

Other than that ... great poll.

Even though I can't speak for all of us who voted for it, it would be safe to assume we voted for the set (with the mini-busts) and not for any particular separate release.

The Good, The Bad & The Ugly is my choice.

Bubba Ho-Tep is a very close second...

Either version of Freaks & Geeks by far.

I wasn't too impressed by the Special Features on that DVD. Too many of those 40-second "featurettes" without a "Play All" function, plus they amounted to little more than fluffy EPK material.

Good transfer, though. Gotta love the look on Bump.

I think TV Show Box Sets should be in its own category.

Aside from that, I vote For Master and Commander CE

I'd vote for BHD:SB, but I got the Black Hawk Down - Superbit Deluxe from Korea that is the best dvd release EVER, which came out late last year i think. For those that are interested in it, its the same as the US 3-disc edition PLUS the DTS TRACK but MINUS the VETERANS COMMENTARY (dang!).
