Best DVD of Q2 2004

Continuing from similar polls held throughout both 2002 & 2003, this poll is to help gauge what everyone feels is the best DVD released within the second quarter of 2004.

***REMEMBER - this poll is for the best DVD (i.e. audio quality, video quality, Special Features, etc.), NOT best movie released on DVD... although I guess the film quality does matter to some extent.

If you wish to cast a vote for a title other then one listed in the poll... please select other, and then post your title in this thread. When the total votes are tallied... these "write in" votes will be counted as well.

Here are the results for the Q1 vote:

1) Panic Room (SE) - 41 votes
2) Schindler's List - 22 votes
3) Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Platinum) - 21 votes
4) Lost in Translation - 12 votes
5) Futurama - Vol. 3 - 11 votes
6) The Rules of the Game (Criterion) - 10 votes
7) The Commitments (CE) - 8 votes
8T) Curb Your Enthusiasm - Season One - 7 votes
8T) Dawn of the Dead (Divimax) - 7 votes
10) Chappelle Show: Complete First Season - 4 votes

A lot of great releases but I am going to go with Freaks and Geeks and Simpsons in a very close second.

The Leopard was utterly impressive from start to finish. I haven't picked up Lower Depths yet, but I'm bound to love it. Simpsons: Season 4 is like Holy Writ to me.

Still, I gotta go with Walt Disney Treasures: Tomorrowland. Of all the discs I've gone through this year, I've come back to that set the most. Brings a smile to my face every time more than anything else I've seen this year, except for the dancing Lindsay Lohan pic. She's got some bounce!

So anyway, yeah my vote is for Other: WDT Tomorrowland.

Other: Master & Commander 2-disc
