Possible LOTR:ROTK Ext release date
I was lloking around at DVDsoon.com and I found this:
http://www.dvdsoon.com/show-title-de...xml?uid=115168
They have the LOTR:ROTK on pre-sale. They also say the release date is for the 16th of december. They also say the running time for the extended version is 246 min, that means a total of 66 more minutes added to the movie. Not bad!
Can't wait in till Christmas mornig ,

The only logical possible release dates for LOTR:ROTK:EE are November 2, November 9, November 16, or November 23. They will want this title in stores for Black Friday and the holiday shopping season.

Also remember that there are about 20 mins of credits for the fan club members, and I bet that extra 66 minutes includes the 20 new minutes of credits. I believe one of the execs recently said there was 46 new minutes of footage, so 66 total would make sense..

i agree with Gyno.. i looked on the back of the ROTK and it says 200 mins.. 246 would mean 46 extra.. minus 20 mins of (EXTRA from the first?) fan credits? so wouldnt that amount to only 26 min. of extra footage.. im sure thats not correct, but MAYBE the 246 on the website doesnt include the end credits, and it should read 266.. I remeber seeing a couple of different online retailers advertising the other Theatrical cuts (FORT, TTT) at plus or minus about 10 mins.. i guess that was the credits..
BTW.. 46 minutes of extra footage (credits not included) would be ABSOLUTELY worth the extra wait IMO

I guess it's going to take them a really long time to make all of those Witch King/Fell Beast statues.
