LOTR part one -- second disc graphic quality of menu is weird

Hey all,

I was using the second disc of the 4 DVD set first installment of the Lord of The Rings (woah) to test my system. When you put the second disc in -- it brings you to a screen that says "continue", "setup", and "main menu". The font of the menu is real nice and smooth, but if you look, there's like a holly-flower type icon graphic on both sides of the menu selections -- and if you look, it's realy low-quality looking. There are no smooth edges -- it looks like a smal icon that was distorted by being resized too large. It looks out of place.... Just something interesting I had noticed....

Thanks,

M

is any thread necessary? I just find it funny that they would take so much time to make everything perfect - then throw this ugly icon in that looks like an error.... But I apologize, it's not as important as the "what is some guy in Idaho watching this weekend" thread

I heard WETA would be doing new menu holly-flower type icon graphics for the Ultimate Mega 12-hour DVD edition.

It's the end of the world! Sue New Line and Peter Jackson for wasting your time on buying the movie and causing psychological damage to your fragile mind w/ the low quality edges.

Haha,

You guys are rippin' on me like I like to rip on other people for their stupid posts -- i guess i was really tired and in rare form when posting this one....lol. Actually, due to the low quality graphics, i have since traded the DVD away and started an online petiton and started www.P.A.U.L.com (People Against Ugly Graphics). -- ok, that was dumb. .

This thread is getting cheesier by the second and I am proud to announce that it is officially and unofficially CLOSED!

,

Hey, I'm some guy in Idaho. Maybe I should start a thread about what I'm watching this weekend.

Anyway, I only think it looks strange because it is a player generated overlay, and those always look weird to me.
