It is indeed a keepcase. With an insert and everything!

Cool, it looks likes Warner might be starting to get it right after all. If they are releasing a bare bones, non SE two disc DVD in keepcase, maybe more are to come.

Well, the second two Matrix movies, The Last Samurai, the Noir Films, the new Hitchcock box, and a few more I can't think of right now, were all released in keepcases.

In fact, the only new release in the past month that I know of that was released in a snapper was Mystic River. And anyone who cares about things like packaging was going to get the 3-disc digipak on that one anyway.

I think WB doesn't want to drop the snappers completely, but it's obvious that they're trying to attone. Good on them. They're finally realising their mistake.

From: I have always been here.
Since they own a part of the company that makes them (snappers) I think they first have to use up the ones they have.

That's a good point. They may not be manufacturing the cases anymore, but will choose some bare-bones titles to use the last of them on.

Anyone hear anything official from WB about the future of the snapper?

I guess they do inserts on a title by title basis as well, lol. Since Greystoke which cameout lastweek was in a Keepcase, but featured no insert.

I really hope WB loses those snappers. I really dislike them!
