Beverly Hills 90210 Pilot question?

So i see that this Tuesday (6-15) the pilot for 90210 will be released. Does anyone know if the season sets are coming soon or do you think their just seeing how many people scoop up the pilot to determine otherwise?

they are not planned as of yet. It is probably wait and see. But I would assume they are already in the works and I think it will be packed with current full cast stuff.

Artisan was planning on releasing season sets until they realized that as of January 2005, Paramount Home Video will own the DVD rights to all of Spelling Entertianment Products (Beverly Hills 90210 Included). This was about a year ago, and Artisan droped the season sets because there would be no time and it would cost too much $$ to realise all 10 seasons.

Nothing has been officially announced, but it is considered common knowledge that Paramount is already working on the first 2 seasons of seasons sets to be release next year.

Not January 2005, CritterDVD. It's mid-to-late 2005.

Here is a link to all 3 news items that I posted talking about 90210 on DVD. The first is the original heads-up that explained the rights situation. The 2nd announces the pilot DVD and its release date. The 3rd has the cover art. These are in order from bottom-to-top (newest news gets added to the top of the stack, just like DVDTalk threads).
