Ronald Reagan DVD Recommendations?
#27
I've noticed that a number of tribute biography discs are being released. I was kind of saddened to see them come out so quickly after his death; it seemed that his death was announced and the discs were released the next day. Seemed too opportunistic; too quick to make a buck (I'll bet the companies that released them had them prepared along time ago and were just waiting for the death announcement to release them).
Anyway the disc I'd like to see released is SHE'S WORKING HER WAY THROUGH COLLEGE, Ron even sings a few lines and Virginia Mayo was HOT!

DVD Talk Legend
Law and Order is a solid western. If you like westerns I would recommend this one.
The Killers is an outstanding Criterion 2 disc set, and Reagan gives a believable performance as the villain of the movie.
The dollar dvd from Treasure Box of Santa Fe Trail is screwed up, and isn't even worth a dollar (I bought it just to see if the movie was any good, but towards the end of the movie the audio and video are out of sync by about 10 seconds, and that lasts for about 10 minutes). I haven't seen any other versions of this DVD, but I'd be interested.
There are several Reagan movies I'd like to get - and I've got Cattle Queen of Montana coming to me in the mail right now from Deep Discount DVD ($6.99). I'm planning on getting Hellcats of the Navy before too long.
