Is "The Wonder Years" coming to DVD?
I tried searching...has this been announced? discussed? This was such a fantastic series and would make such a great TV set DVD and don't say that, like ever.

I have the only two WONDER YEARS DVD's out now:
Best of the Wonder Years: (Pilot and the Last episode)
Christmas Wonder Years: features 2 eps.
However, I think there may be a delay in getting these eps, and most featured original rock music and securing those rights might be a bitch.
Most of the original period music in the Best Of and Xmas Wonder Years was changed to some lame sound-a-like version.

Sold my "best of's" around Christmas. $30 each. I only paid, maybe $6 each tops. Gotta love ebay. Didn't figure I would watch them anytime soon again. Figured with the box set frenzy the studios have right now, it will hit eventually.

As jeff mentioned, this is another of those shows caught up in "music rights hell". From the last thing I read, it won't be anytime soon.

but didn't they secure them in the first place to air on the shows? why would it change if it would be property of the show now?

The "best of" DVDs were cheap when they were in print, but they've been out of print for several years now. There are only two episodes on each of the two titles, so you're not missing that much.
