Saw it when it was ran on Starz Action Channel, and was severely disappoited. Looked more like a alien horror story when
Spoiler:
little parasitic bugs took over control of the humans. Got pretty bloody too. But then again, so is the first one.

Bloody gore horror film with some paranoia elements like in "The Thing." There are some short but cool action scenes, excellent effects, and the usual "bad ass" tough guy character that anchors the film. If you watch a lot of b-movies, then you'll probably like Starship Troopers 2. Avoid if you only stick with big studio movies.

Just finished watching the movie and saying it was kind of lame is being kind of generous So far the "making of" has been more enjoyable than the movie itself If anyone absolutely feels like they must have this I STRONGLY recommend you rent it first.

Oops! Should've looked here first.

Put a chain around it's neck and leave it in the back yard. BOO!!!

rented it, acting bad, story bad, bug effects good, gore good. Not worth buying. Renting yes, buy no.

I rented it

I kept waiting for the gratitous nudity but it never came.

Oh well .. I'll go put in Swimming Pool and chapter skip.

My recommendation at this point is to skip the movie itself and go straight to the commentary. Definately more interesting than the movie/dialog itself

this was more of a slasher type flick rather than a Troopers flick (ie. space war film)... it was very "body snatchers" or "puppet masters"-esque... but overall it was just a complete and total waste of time...
