Does any one know how to reach Fox to find out what they are doing about this?
Thanks!
I am having the same type of problems as well as everone else with disc one. Afterlife will not even play.

i had two instances thruought the whole set where the disc locked up, but i think it was more a quirk of the player, since i got it to pass thru the same spot effortlessly a few minutes afterwards.
i had two floaters as well, even though i gave it a shake test and didn't hear anything amiss.
luckily no major scratches though.

I have been through THREE sets of Season 6 and on all 3 disc two does not work at all. (
Which has my 2 favorite episodes of the entire season.)
Should I go for a 4th set or is this just something I am just not able to watch because of my cheap Mintek 1600 DVD player (which has never had a problem before.)

Just finished watching all of these. No problems at all. But I did have a couple of floaters again. This has to be the 2nd or 3rd time my BtVS sets have had loose discs inside. All bought at b&ms and all successfully completed the "shake" test.

All it does on my player is play the "music video" with burned in subtitles. If it was really designed for karaoke, then shouldn't it play without the vocals? (And there isn't any alternate audio track, either.)
Also, if it was really intended for karaoke, then it probably should've used different selections like "Under Your Spell" and "Rest in Peace." "I've Got a Theory" and "Walk Through the Fire" are both ensemble cast pieces and not really appropriate for karaoke.

I bought mine at costco and tried to watch "Once more with Feeling" on my Xbox and the menu interface came up. But it didn't play the episode at all. I then tried playing it on my Bravo DVD player and there were 2 skips at beginning. Tried on 3 other players and 2 of 3 skipped in same spot. I returned it yesterday and got new one. But beginning part of OMWF doesn't play on Xbox and jumps to chapter 3 w/ bell in magic box, but works fine on my bravo. But then first DVD skips and is scratched up.
My sister got season six, and her's has sound and video off synch at beginning of OMWF. Are they going to do a recall?

I've also had problems with "OMWF" on the second disc. The first set I got wouldn't play the episode at all and I tried it on 3 DVD players (Panasonic, Toshiba, Xbox) and my PC as well. I called Foxstore.com and they sent out a second set 100% free of charge (they didn't even ask for the fist set back) and there was still a problem with the 2nd disc but it at least plays on SOME DVD players (Panasonic and Xbox, but not Toshiba or PC).
Just thought I'd let you guys know that this seems to be a on-going problem at least with the batch Fox is directly sending out...
P.S. What sould I do with the 1st set? It won't play OMWF at all, is it worth anything?
