Bootleg Star Trek VI?
I received a copy of Star Trek VI: Special Collector's Edition today from a half.com merchant who I've dealt with before, sans problems.
The DVD case looks normal from the outside, it was sealed with the usual wrapping and stickers and all, but there was no booklet, and the inside of the case is odd--it has two spots for DVDs--one above the other so that one is basically covering half of the other.
Given the strange case and the lack of a booklet, I'm wondering if this is a bootleg...

No insert, but mine came with a regular case, while parts three and five came with that crappy disk-over-disk kind of case (I got all 6 movies in the box set). Gotta get replacements for them...!

Not a bootleg. None of them came with booklets and I've seen them with 3 different cases... Paramount seems to be experimenting with different 2-disc cases lately (this one, 10 commandments)... probably to cut costs.

I was just upset cause the first shipment of them to my Borders had white cases. I wasn't sure if they were going to put out black ones, so I bought a white one and the second or third shipment was in black cases. So, now I'm stuck with a stupid white case next to the other black ones.

I've been a member here longer than you have, Adrenaline. Your condensation is neither appreciated nor helpful.
As for everyone else, thanks--I appreciate the information.

Mine came in a white case without an insert. The first thing I did was to swap it with the TMP case. Making only the yellow spine have a white case. However, I recently printed out some custom covers from dvdcoverart.com and a white case just wouldn't do. So fortunately I realized that I had another black double for my Glory-SE, so I swapped those out and now I have all black cases for my Star Trek movies. Actually see the thread on the Star Trek Generations release. I have several shots of those custom covers.
