Ebay or Amazon?

I've never sold anything on Ebay or Amazon before... I found some new OOP Wave 1 Disney Treasure Tins yesterday and I plan on selling them but I wanted to see which website was the easiest to sell on? Or if there was a better place to sell them at

Have you tried the Exchange Forum? It'd be nice if you could sell or exchange with fellow DVDTalkers.

Oh, and I'm curious how you find "new" Wave 1 tins?

amazon is easier but you have to pay more when you sell, try half.com

Half.com is simple and easy...but you have to wait for your cash unlike ebay (with paypal).

I like using Amazon because it's really easy, but you do make more with ebay (usually). Sometimes, though, you might get some really low bids and you're stuck selling it at a really deeply discounted rate. With Amazon, you set your own price.

I forgot about the exchange forum... never used it before. And by new I meant in a tin wrapped and sealed, and I found these at Movie Trader Company

You do wait for your money with Half.com, but you're getting it from a company [half.com] and not an individual, so there's no worrying if the check is going to clear etc. Of course, there's worry if the buyer is going to reverse the chargers...
You can stick something on Half.com at a given price and leave it there till it sells.

when it comes to OOP videos, I have much muhc better luck with Half and amazon. When it comes to OOP dvd (or any DVD for that matter) I had much more success with amazon, while ebays all I got was deadbeats who abuse buy it now features!

I found a few of the early tins at a used store for about $15 each, and watched 'em a few times. I didn't really need to hang onto them forever, so I put them on eBay and they each netted about $50.
