whats with all these auctions on ebay.com and half.com for the disney treasures with no tin? what do the people do with them. and where can i buy just the tin its self?

You cannot buy the tin itself. You *may* get lucky on eBay.
Costco sold the Wave 1 + 2 collection with no tins, and some sellers broke it up and sold it individually.
