how are the disney war time cartoons?
just read this ign.com review here
http://dvd.ign.com/articles/516/516479p5.html
and it peaked my interest. ive never seen a disney war time cartoon. i've seen WB war cartoons which were FANTASTIC. if you can find that video, check it out.
so how do you think disney compares with WB?

This is the one Tin that I have been looking forward to immensely. They are just as good as Warner Brothers toons from the same period, imo.

I just recieved mine yesterday...
Fantastic. I've watched a few of the cartoons, the training films, and part of Victory Through Air Power so far. The shorts are facinating (I love watching WWII-era films). Most of the films look incredible... some of the educational/propaganda films look a little contrasty (I suspect most are from Kodachrome prints). Victory Through Air Power looks brand new.
And I'm still humming "Der Fuerher's Face"

Yeah what a superb DVD. I'm still having a hard time picturing the Naiz-loving Donald Duck in my head, even after watching Der Feurher's Face. The cartoons look great, too -- they don't show their age at all.

This is the tin set I really want to get my hands on. I check around me and the stores don't have it, and said they never got any yet. I am dreading they will not reach me, maybe I will have to put an order in at Amazon, but I don't want to wait
