I am looking for a web site that explaines the diff DVD media ie DVD-9, DVD-18 single & double sided info in detail..
I had it last year & after a HD crash I can't find it...

I do a quick explination for you
DVD-5 - single layer, single sided
DVD-9 - dual layer, single sided
DVD-18 - dual layer, dual sided
DVD-14 - one side single layer, one side dual layer
DVD-5 - single layer, single sided
DVD-9 - dual layer, single sided
DVD-18 - dual layer, dual sided
DVD-14 - one side single layer, one side dual layer

Ritek -R's any good & more ?
the dvdrhelp.com list the ritek -r as good & reliable
but shop4tech.com has 1 listed as shiny top & 1 as matte top, but the $ on the matte is cheaper... both are listed as GO4..
Is it just the top or are they different in reliability??
