It is a 1932 M-G-M production. Does the age of this film matter in some way?

All look interesting but Freaks and Dead Ringer are certain purchases.

Btw, Dead Ringer is a murder-centered drama hardly a horror film.

Will these really be in keepcases or is that for promotional use only?

And I agree Warners definitely should have given those early Hammers a better release. They at least could have gotten the pictures on the back cover correct.

Anybody know what ratio "The Bad Seed" (1956) was shot in? I'm guessing 1.66.

Of course, I suppose it could have been 1.33, since in 1956 not everything was being done strictly in WS as yet.

No matter what AR .... this is one to get.

Henry Jones as "Leroy" is great. .....

David I've never seen the film on TV in a WS format. My WB laserdisc is Fullscreen. The cover art of the LD is tons better IMHO than the previewed DVD art.

Wow! Those are some of the most attractive DVD covers I've seen in a while, Bad seed, Freaks and the Damned films are must buys for me! I wish more studios would put this kind of work into all DVD releases. Brilliantly nostalgic.

Wasn't WB suppose to put out the "It's Alive" trilogy this Halloween too?

To tell you the truth, I have never seen "Freaks", "Dead Ringer" or the "Damned" movies but I have heard of them specially the Freaks.

I'll be most interested in purchasing "Freaks" and adding them to my collection but what about the other ones, will you recommend it as a blind buy?

TCM last year aired a beautiful letterbox version of the FEARLESS VAMPIRE KILLERS. Watched around 5min of it, then proceeded to lose the tape - curses!

FEARLESS VAMPIRE KILLERS turned up in widescreen Hi-Def on HD NET MOVIES the other night. So a HD master does exist. It's just a matter of time now...
