Crap, you're right. I was thinking of a different movie and got that title stuck in my head. Now I can't remember what the movie was.

Anyway, Silverado is certainly a western.

I'm not affiliated with this site and haven't ordered from them before...but whilst looking for a copy of Kubrick's Fear and Desire (which I eventually found ) I stumbled across this site which is selling DVDs whose source is the widescreen LD of Peckinpah movies you can't get on DVD. Just a suggestion if you feel like slightly upgrading from VHS.

Unfortunately, this Criterion is probably not the esteemed DVD studio, but Criterion Pictures, a non-theatrical/specialty market distributor for some major studios including Fox.
