How do you search for Wish List DVDs on E-bay?

personally, I have different categories as saved searches, such as new releases, box sets, TV, music, Disney, etc. Then I exclude from my searches terms such as "vhs, vcd" and the like.

Just wondering if any of you have found a more efficient way. It's sometimes hard to get specific enough (i.e., to limit a search for a particular season for a TV show) without missing some that might be up for auction, or get broad enough without getting everything in existence, most of which you don't need.

I never buy DVD's from e-Bay, because most of the time, the shipping costs are too high and with the exchange (I live in Canada) most of the time it cost more that a new copy bought at WalMart!!

I hate the rip-off on shipping fees...once I ordered a CD with 5UD$ shipping fees, at my door, the stamps where for about a dollar and few cents!!...

but that is MY experience...

LSU, what you do is what I do. Just play around with search terms enough and you'll be fine.

Searching for DVDs on eBay is a pain. Most of the time when I find one I want it ends up being some cheap Hong Kong ripoff.

definately. searching for any of the Alias sets on Ebay turns up a ton of HK versions.

I also suggest what the poster earlier mentioned, to just try different search terms and see what comes up.
