How many DVD's have you purchased at one time?

Meaning, how many DVD's have you either bought online and recieved all at once (1 shipment) or went to a B&M and got? And approximately how much $?

I was just curious as when I go to B&M or see online it is just so damn hard to get only 1, especially at B&M. You go for one and wind up getting, sometimes, a boat load more. I think the most for me was around 6 a just a tad over $100.

How did you get 6 Criterions for under $20? That is amazing.

Excluding 8 from Columbia House arriving at one time, I purchased 6 at WalMart once for about $58 bucks.

At the end of last year I went on a DVD buying binge, and over a period of four months, bought about 140, mainly online.

Received 10 DVDs yesterday for around $80 from the earlier deal at Fox Store using a 50% off coupon. A few months earlier received an 18 DVD shipment for about $70 from the Troma sale that was posted in the bargain forum. Also I don't remember the amount spent but received a 14 DVD shipment from the DDD 20% off coupon sale. I could keep going on with many other examples but that gives you an idea I purchase a lot of DVDs.

$19.47 and $25.97 - so it was probably just under $130 for 4 $30 and 2 $40 titles. and they arrived in less than a week!

the 20% off coupon from DDD killed me. I don't have the kind of money to spend over $100 on one order, but I found a way to do it then. Probably between 8 and 10 movies, a few of them Criterions.

Last year, DDD accidentally cancelled one of my orders, and gave me a 10% off coupon when they found out it was their error. Having never seen a coupon for DDD, I was estatic. My roommate and I put together an order that totalled about $600. I think I got about 30-40 dvds with my purchase.

Other than that, I've made a couple big orders at dddhouse and layoyo for some HKs and usually order 20-30 at a time, usually about 100-150 bucks.

I bought all seven seasons of STTNG at one time. I don't even want to think about how much that cost.

Well recently I picked up the Monsters Set which was 6 dvds & 13 films. A pretty big load for me,since I usually only buy one or two movies every so often.

The only other big buys were the Nightmare on Elm Street set in 2000 for $110.

Other than that,I stick to two dvds at most whenever I do buy something.

Now if I ever get into some big money. I plan on ordering the Hitchchock Criterion set,the Mondo Cane Collection, the Alien Quadrilogy..which will set me back about $300 and months worth of viewing pleasure.

That won't happen anytime soon though
