At one time, probably five or so. Usually the most I get at once are Columbia House packages with six.

Damn, that's even making my wallet cry.

I usually only get 2 dvd's/boxsets at a time.

I got 10 from the MGM sale at DVDEmpire earlier this year, but that month I ended up spending tons of money (I sold an uber-expensive guitar amp so I had money layin around) and got nearly 100 DVDs that month...sheesh.

The most I ever get is 2 season box sets at a time, usually's been a combo of Stargate with Babylon 5 or Babylon 5 with Highlander/Xena/Hercules. Movies wise, I've bought in the neighborhood of 2-5 at any given time. Uusally all if they're in the $10 range or less. I bought all of the Lethal Weapon films at once. Bought a bunch of Steven Seagal films at once, 5 or 6 I believe. Overall, I try to keep my DVD buying to less than $200 a month.

last week with an import order, on-line and local retail combined...I snagged a total of 22 dvds. that was my biggest week in about 4 months. I usually stick to my 10-per-week rule...but sometimes things get out of hand. how much I spent is forgotten a few days after my sprees...unless I have to dig up receipts. all depends on how much my daily tips are.

The most i've bought was that 20% off DDD coupon....had two orders, spent about $350 on 3-4 box sets and about 12 other titles.

Other than that, my biggest purchase was probably about 5-6 dvds at one time (try to keep my buying under control).

At one point I bought twelve DVDs over the course of a shopping spree; bear in mind, I didn't even spend $75 doing it, which is probably why I got so many.

14 discs of Armored Troopers Votoms when Digital Eyes cut the price on the used disc to dump them, think it was 50 or 60 bucks at most.

I think the most I bought at once was about 8 or so, Christmas 2001 time. I had birthday and Christmas money to spend.

I think I bought about 11 at a time, back last May, when Fox and MGM both came out with their war movies the same day.

A local mom & pop went out of business I bought close to 150 in one week. About 100 the last day. They were only $1 each.

I'd say around 20 would be the record for me at one time.

I tend to buy fewer at B&M stores because I'm more conscious of the spending.

The most I ever received in a single package at one time was 12 from DDD, but that was because they combined three orders (of varying sizes).

It was like Christmas that day. Took me six and a half hours just to remove the security stickers.

I bought 26 titles from DDD when they had that 20% off coupon. I've got around to watching about 1/2 of them so far.

I bought a sealed box in a blind auction from a storage unit for $20 and ended up with 56 DVDs.

My favorite find ever.

25-30.... Back in the summer of 2002, Virgin had a double sale where they had "Vital Titles" on sale for 25% off, then they had a $25 off of $100 coupon. Add them together and you end up with 44% off. It turned out that about 2/3 of the Criterion that they carried were marked as Vital Titles. So, I went down, grabbed piles of discs and kept making piles of $101 each. We must have spent $500 in a day. (The clerks were a little bit reticent about letting us do the deal and, in fact, two days later, they stopped accepting the coupons).
