KILL BILL vol 2 DVD Oct 12th?

Read on the Tarantino msg board that its due on Oct.12th and the 4hr set will hit shops before Xmas. Can anyone confirm this?

What about a SE box set with both films???

How many versions are we gonna get???..Come one Miramax! Stop screwing the public

It hasn't been officially announced, but BVHV has said that Vol. 2 should be out in Oct. and the big set should be out by the end of the year, so that sounds about right.

If so, this is great news. I just assume there not be any SEs of the individual volumes. I'd take two barebones releases and then a stacked edition of the combined film.

the 4 hour set is prob 1 and 2 all uncut (and before that, maybe a 1 month theatrical run in november in their nc-17 form)

DavisDVD says Buena Vista has confirmed Vol. 2 for a Region 2 release on Oct. 11. So, this is probably correct.

i reckon volume 1 was better but when u combine the 2 as one movie its probably my best behind braveheart matrix and lord of the rings

I absolutely want to own Kill Bill Vols. 1 and 2 separately. I think the split enhanced the film(s) as a whole - they're tonally and stylistically so different that they really wouldn't fit together that well. Of course it'll be cool to see the "Whole Bloody Affair" 4-hour cut, but I'm pretty sure that this particular tale of bloody revenge works best in two helpings.
