Godzilla Question
So I have 3 Godzillia DVD's, picked them up in a used record store, on three separate occassions. One was Godzilla vs Mothra, but it was not that title, it was like godzillia vs the king of the monsters. (or something like that?)
I can't remember the Studio, but each of the DVD has the widescreen, and pan and scan option and a collection of still picture shots from the movie.
I know I didn't give you musch to go on, when I get home tonight, I will look up the studio. But for now, anyone know about these discs?. Were they a boxed set that was sold off a DVD at a time, and if so, how many dvds were there?
PS: sorry if this question has been asked before.

Toho is the studio that produces the movies, but as for the companies releasing the DVD's, there are many. Most are horrible quality, and pan/scan. They all need to be remastered in anamorphic. Maybe since they are going to retire Godzilla after this next film, they will.

Although the picture I have here is of the VHS version, I have the DVD version with the same cover......All three of the DVD's have the same type of cover. I haven't been able to find any others like these, so thats why I was wondering if the three DVD's I have were from a box set.
Milo thanks for the links....

What you have there is one of the most sought after R1s (if not the most because it's OOP and Classic Media didn't include it in their set) of a Godzilla flick. You should check what that fetches on eBay.
Supposedly Classic Media is going to release that movie soon themselves.

Yeah, nice find, those are Simitar discs and are out of print. Some of them fetch a good amount on ebay (I think especially that Monster Zero one). I have those myself (except for the Terror of Mechagodzilla, which was full screen only)

Okay, so they weren't a box set then, I paid 9.99 Cdn for them...I have Godzilla vs. Monster zero, Godzillas Revenge, and Godzilla vs. Mothra.
I have looked for 1-2 years for similar ones but haven't been able to find any, now I know why..Thanks, I guess I will be putting my paypal account back to use again.

The Simitar discs were part of two box sets:
Godzilla - 5 Rampaging Movies
Godzilla King of the Monsters
Godzilla vs. Mothra
Godzilla vs. Monster Zero
Godzilla's Revenge
Terror of Mechagodzilla
The uber generic sounding Godzilla Collection had the same five movies, but also included The Art of Illusion.
I wasn't into DVDs back when these were in print, but I think it's safe to assume that all titles were available individually as well.
