I just notice the Jean-Luc Picard collection is available for pre-order now http://www.dvdempire.com/Exec/v4_ite...item_id=604823 Which I really like since I have no desire to purchase all 7 seasons for the few eps I would rewatch on a regular basis (the two main ones I have in mind just happen to be JLP eps ). However what seems to be missing is a list of the 7 eps. Has anyone heard of these sets? Are there going to be more of them for some of the other characters (as I've mentioned before I think a Worf arc set would make a good one as well).

There were "Worf," "Data," and "Borg" collections released back in the days of LaserDisc. I doubt, however, we'll ever see "The Troi Collection."

Which unfortunately only has one of the eps I wanted (The Inner Light) the other being Chain of Command esp part 2

Remember, only assumed because it's what's on the R2 version of the same-titled set. We know they're remastering it for R1, because the extras change. So it's possible the episodes can change, too. I bet against it, but anything's possible.

There's a list at StarTrek.com called "Ten Great Picard Episodes", in which The Inner Light is the only one to be on that list and the R2 DVD list. Strange that there's so little cross-over.

But, then again, I presume the others would be held back to include in different sets (Data set, Borg set, Q Continuum set, Cardassian set...and don't forget the "Wonder-Wesley" set! ).

I cannot WAIT for the Q set. I loved Q.

Note that I'm only *assuming* that other sets like I described will come along, sooner or later...assuming the Picard set sells. Nothing has been announced, of course. Not yet anyway.

Ironically this very topic was discussed on the TrekBBS back in 2002 when the TNG sets first came out and we thought it was next to impossible that such sets would ever come out.

Well, I guess, Hell must've frozen over.

The Inner Light, Starship Mine, Lessons and Captain's Holiday are all good episodes, especially Light and Mine. I'll definitely be picking up this set.

Glad these are being released, wasn't too keen on buying the sets.
