Pitch Black Re-Release!

I wonder how accurate that is. I could have sworn they were dropping the DTS on the new versions, as discussed in another thread on this same topic.

I thought this was a decent low budget sci-fi film. Other than this being the director's cut, will this release have any extra stuff, or is it just a simple repackaging of the old DVD, sort of like the Lions Gate Signature Series?

Wait, when "Pitch Black" was first released on DVD, wasn't there two versions? A bloodier "director's cut" and the theatrical cut? Is the new DVD going to be the same as the "bloodier" cut??

I assume this will come with a free ticket to the sequel, but does anyone know if the re-release has a new transfer?

Can anybody say "Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark"? Spare me. Cover is horrid. New features look to be just fluff for sequel/prequel (?have we figured that out yet?). Loved the film, kind of dreading the next, holding on to the version I have now.
What's next, "Boba Fett and the Empire Strike Back?"

No thanks. I'll stick with the original unrated edition. The movie was good, but not that good, even if it had more extras I wouldn't buy it again.

so basically, this is the same as the original "Unrated Director's Cut" with the same transfer and audio, but a couple more extras and new cover and that is it, correct? seems that way...
