There's been a lot of interesting points presented to make this SE sound interesting, and being the occasional blind-buyer, I may go ahead and pick it up, provided I can find a copy for a little less than the SRP...which shouldn't be a problem whatsoever.
Thanks everyone.

From: You have moved into a dark place. It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
I wouldn't be so sure. There never was a price drop on the "Black Hawk Down: Deluxe Edition" 3-disc set.
Opening week was probably the best you'll see this one for. I think you missed the Amazon "Buy Panic Room 3-disc, Get another Disc Free" deal, which would've lowered the price considerably if you didn't have one of the other discs they were offering.

But then again, this leads back to the beginning of this thread, in which I was wondering why I would want to spend $35 (or less, perhaps) on a movie I hadn't even seen yet, just because it has a "treasure-trove" of additional features, that, depending on how I felt about the movie itself, I may not even be interested in watching.
Since my last post, I did finish watching the movie, and it wasn't too bad, but not, IMO, worth picking up a 3-disc set. I will enjoy my Superbit version for what it is, and it now has its place in my collection.
...and they all lived happily ever after.
The End.
