I absolutely love the look and design of the ALIEN head. It's the packaging Ive seen yet. If it were a bit cheaper, there is no way I would hesitate to pick that thing up.
Also, as with Randy Miller III, I too am always pleasantly surprised with the quality of the Futurama sets. So much detail and design goes into those things, that while not the most elaborate, they still are some of the best looking little sets around.

Don't care what people think man but this baby would kill.. in any home theatre.......
It seems that we will be buying these items as decorations/celebrations of our favourite movies, like people buying/collecting posters or paintings...or crystal...but as a bonus when you buy this item, you get the DVD with this decoration piece!!
I never saw Shindler's List, but knew I would like it, and just wanted to wait untill it came out on DVD, and when this baby looked this good, and the price was right how could I refuse a Blind Buy...
!!"
As mentioned earlier these sets are becoming more and more elaborate, soon we will be forgeting the DVD that comes with it..."Look Ma it came with a DVD

Compared to all those stated above, the one I like is really boring, but for some reason, I really like the standard and much critisized Alien Quad case.
I realize that it is esily broken, but the artwork used on the fully spread out 9 disc and slipcover is very impressive, IMO. Definately my favorite boxed set, and one of the few I display face out.

I went to the website that the X Files box set it from. It is based on Brazil (R4 Only).
Here is a link to the product page. It is out of stock now, and was a 34 disc set. No price stated, and no additional photos.

Ohhh WOW I didn't if the box was just a fake 'cabinet' that held one or two seasons. It is much larger and more substantial than I'd imagined.
Brazil only eh? Man, that's gotta rub X-file fans here the wrong way huh? Luckily I'm not a fan, or I'd be trying to get that thing for sure.
I would have to say that's probably the best one out of all of these super crazy deluxe gift sets from other countries. It's entirely appropriate to the subject (well, seems more natural to me than putting DVD's in a alien head to me anyway) and acts as a functional storage! Nice!

No Mulder on that side of the file cabinet huh? I mean he was only the MAIN character throughtout most of the series.
Beyond that, Scully was the main character in the series, by television shorthand. She was the character through whom we, the audience, were introduced to the 'X-Files' world, her pregnancy was a driving force of the series (moreso even than Mulder's ever-fluctuating family), and she was there beginning to end.
It's just that Mulder was (by far, I'd say) the BEST character of the series. I didn't fully appreciate how great he was until catching the re-runs on Fox at 2AM, but maaaaaaaan, he was so much better than anything else about that show.
