Worst decision ever!!!!!!!
Actually, I didn't 'buy' the DVD. I was dragged to the theater to see this ... AHEM ... 'classic'.

The problem with a thread like this is summed up by the old Latin proverb "De gustibus non disputandum est" (loosely, there's no arguing about taste). Some forum members have selected movies (Dogma, Rat Race [the scene where Jon Lovitz drives Hitler's car into a WWII veterans' reunion had me laughing so hard I almost asphyxiated!], Suspiria) that I love. Fair enough, I don't expect everyone to have the same tastes I do. Some of the other choices (Island of the Dead, Highlander 2) I can agree with totally. Me? I'm fortunate in that I really haven't made any bad buys, even where blind buys are concerned. Maybe the closest would be when I bought "Zulu" from CH, only to discover later that there's an R2 version with a commentary track.
Best,
Scott

Yes, in matters of taste, there can be no dispute.
Still, even if you didn't like Kill Bill, it has hip cache - no one is going to see that in your collection and chortle.
Here's one I just picked up from Walmart's bargain bin - after watching it (sort of) again, I realised that I remembered it being funnier than it is:

God! Some of you people are just picky, picky, picky!
With a couple of exceptions, I haven't made blind buys. Since I only buy movies I've seen and like (whether someone else likes it or not is pointless to me), my DVD collection consists of only those movies. At least as many of them as I can afford to get.
Consequently, I have no movies I'm embarrassed to own. Someone else might think I ought to be embarrassed, but that's just their opinion.

Yeah, isn't that Harry Potter film one of the biggest moneymakers of all time?
I mean, there are like 70 million other people who just love that movie. How is that embarrassing?
