I'm sure whatever is thrown in is trivial and will be like all of the other marketing-based Unrated DVDs. But... I'm still looking forward to this release.

Unrated or not, it's a longer cut, that's all I care about. This movie won't hit theatres here until nearer to Christmas 2004, so I can't wait to get my hands on this -smile-

Yeah, that's in the review. The "Badder Santa" DVD has, in addition to the newly incorporated footage, one extra special feature, and it's pretty useless. It's just a couple minutes of poorly edited gags.

So is there any point in getting Bad Santa instead of Badder Santa? Is the new footage that much better?

I'm just confused as to why there is even an option between 2 versions of the film.

The regular theatrical versions of these films exist for places like Walmart and Blockbuster video, who won't stock the Unrated editions.
