I want a MacGyver DVD set!
Will this ever be released on DVD? 'Just curious. Companies seem to be releasing everything under the sun these days, so why not get MacGyver out there. Maybe it wasn't around long enough to be worthy....
Would anybody buy it?

seriously though I want this too, I don't like TV on dvd as I never watch tv in the last few years (find most content too stupid) but macgyver and a-team I'd pick up in a heart beat, as I will with the upcoming knight rider
good old 80's

Ah the 1980's that brings back memories especially Macgyver and his mullet the only time that I will get that dvd is when they finally release Miami Vice on dvd but I know I will be waiting a very long time for that to happen. I heard that Airwolf was released on R2 any word on a R1 release? will it be in boxsets?

On the topic of old TV shows coming back on DVDs I have one question. Why can't they make action packed shows like that now? All we see nowadays are real TV game shows and drama to the hilt.. can't stand them anymore!
Someone please bring back Glen Larson and the rest of those kind of directors. Now they know how to make fun shows to watch.

Reality shows are dirt cheap to make and people watch them. Also, shows like MacGyver actually have to have a brain writing them. 'The good ol' days'? I'm too young for that, I just caught the last 2 or 3 seasons of the show and I loved them. Fun show for a 10-year-old.
I'd buy the set the second it came out. Actually, I'd pre-order the set before it came out.
According to IMDB, there are 139 episodes of the show. Can you just imagine Mr. Anderson talking over all those shows... I'd listen to the guy. (Hey, Rob Bowman directed an episode. Didn't know that.) (Also, I forgot MacGyver's first name was Angus.)
