My Kill Bill Vol 1 custom cover

I'm working on a custom cover for Kill Bill Vol 1. This is the first custom cover I've ever done, so it might be a little rough. Anyway, any comments or suggestions?

Also, I need help with the following:
1. How do I make the description text left edge line up with the slant of the sword without distorting it?
2. How do I do the credits in the style they're always in on the back of DVD covers? Do I just go onto IMDb and type them out? And if so, with what font?

Thanks!

i always just hit the space bar along each line to make it line up i.e. hit space bar once on line 2, twice on line 3 etc. nice cover, btw

By line up, do you mean you want the special features to be slanted like the sword? If so, just select your text and press CTRL-T to activate the Transform function. Then you can rotate the text to match the sword - once you accept the changes, the quality will return to normal.

You'll want to find the movie credits font - I think it's called Steelfish. One of them is anyway. Then, you might want to refer to the credits from other DVDs to see what kind of credits should be there and what order they go in.

I like it though - nice job!

Actually, I've already got a new version of this cover. Here it is:

I didn't care for the movie that much but I love looking at custom covers. This is a great job and I would honestly pick up the DVD just to have this cover on my shelf. Great work.

Wow, you guys are awesome! That's great that you like my cover.
I've got another revision now:

I put a new Uma picture on the back so that the two pictures of her on the back aren't so similar. The problem is, I had to flip the picture to get her looking the right direction. Think anyone will notice? That isn't a sin or anything to flip a photo, is it?

Your photo flip is fine, but I've found many instances of this on studio-released DVDs that were botched. For example, a back cover photo for Comic Book: The Movie is flipped, resulting in a logo being viewed backwards. And then of course, there's the botched disc 2 for the Star Trek VI Special Edition.

Anyway, great cover!

That cover is outstanding. Very nice work. I actually like the studio cover a great deal, but yours is awesome. I want that cover for sure.

The one gripe I have about this cover is how tight the text is on the back cover. It seems like it's really squished into that space. Doesn't have any breathing room, ya know?

Other than the one thing, it's a great cover.

It's available at dvdcoverart.com, or if you don't have an account there, you could email me and I'll send you the link.

Seems like the best place to ask this question, rather than starting a new thread -- does the Region 1 DVD come with an insert?
