Cat In The Hat question.

Does Cat In The Hat come with an insert? Just picked up a copy at Circut City and no insert. Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken, Universal is the company that's notorious for leaving out inserts of a good 90% or maybe more of their releases. I say 90% because I have some of theirs that do have inserts.

No insert, plus it has forced adds.

I don't care about the insert, but the forced adds suck. Especially for a kids movie, where all the kids want to do is start the movie.

I can understand the problem with forced ads... but can someone explain to me the perceived universal crime against humanity that is the "no insert" syndrome?

Except for the informative booklets found in Criterion discs, I've never looked once at these things.

I can think of one reason. These types of storage.

Until recently, all dvds (99%+) had inserts. I enjoy the extra art work and a list of chapters for easy reference on the insert. Since DVD prices have not gone down without an insert, I feel cheated without one.
