Any "in character" commentaries?

Has there ever been a DVD released where the cast did commentaries as the characters they play? Example, instead of hearing a commentary by the actor that does the voice for Homer Simpson, you get a commentary by Homer himself?

This seems to me like it would have much potential for hillarity. Never heard one though.

Yeah, it was almost as good as her interview with The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Does anyone remember that? Why this woman still has any credibility with audiences is the mystery of the ages.

The Spinal Tap commentary is hysterical.

I'm surprised this isn't done more often.

A few of the powerpuff girls have commentaries from Mojo Jojo and the Mayor. They're pretty funny.

one of my favorite commentaries is
Mr. Show season one where most of the participants lapse into characters (some from the show) to hilarious effect.

It's hard for the "characters" to keep up with comments...

The Muppets did one once, and it was funny for about 30 minutes, then it became clear they had nothing of substance to say.

BROTHER BEAR and BUBBA HO-TEP have character commentaries coming up.

'Country Bears' has two really, really funny guys -- Stephen Root and Dietrich Bater -- playing their characters from the movie.

What? You didn't say they had to be good movies.

The upcoming Freaks and Geeks DVDs have in-character commentaries on some discs, I read.

Margaret Cho's Notorious C.H.O. has a commentary with her as her mother.

Boy, was the Notorious C.H.O. "Margaret's mother" commentary not entertaining. The actual comedy performance itself was hilarious, but don't rent it for the commentary.

The Bubba Ho-Tep DVD has a "Bruce Campbell as Elvis" commentary which should be hysterical.

I understand the U.S. is being charged with Geneva Convention violations for forcing Taliban prisoners to listen to
Dana Carvey's commentary as "The Turtle Guy" for The Master of Disguise.
