I have both 13 and once upon a time in mexico but only have time for one. I have my brothers wedding tomorrow so the one I don't watch will probably wait till next week. Can I get a few recomendations on which to watch tonight. I know they are completely different types of movies, I just asking which people enjoyed more.

Well, I'm gonna have to disagree with the above opinions of Thirteen. I "enjoyed" it quite a bit. The three main actresses (particularly Holly Hunter) did a very good job and the film is (regretfully) fairly accurate to the life of some teens these days. I am a little biased in that I work with teens so it is a little more personal to me, but still, I thought it was a good film. The best way that I can think to describe it is a Larry Clark film that is much closer to the lives of the average teen.
As for Once Upon A Time In Mexico, I haven't seen it, so I can't really help there.

Oops, going a little off topic there....

My complaint with Thirteen is the camerawork mainly. It is just too cheesy and after school special for my blood... I am equating that too the "teeny-bopper" line in the second post.

).No to go completely off topic . . . your sig literally made me laugh out loud. We mention Danol often enough around here, but that's not the same as actually reading his words.

Once Upon a Time in Mexico. It isn't as good as Desperado or El Mariachi but Depp steals the show once again. I don't really care for Depp's past political statements but he is really one of my favorite actors. Fear and Loathing, Pirates, OUATIM, etc.... would be average movies without him.
I don't really care for 13. It's just not my type of movie.

Between the two though I'd do OUATIM
