Wrestlemania XX DVD News

Wrestling DVD fans can look forward to a three-disk DVD set once Wrestlemania 20 is released. The DVD will feature the actual PPV, the Sunday Night Heat before the event, footage from the Hall of Fame induction, bonus interviews, and both the "Greatest Matches in Wrestlemania History" and "The Mania of Wrestlemania" TV specials.

I guess we can finally put to rest the mythical WM boxset. The "Greatest Matches in Wrestlemania History" is crap. Haven't seen "The Mania of Wrestlemania".

The Mania of Wrestlemania = the best behind-the-scenes/out-of-character documentary that the WWE has ever produced.

At one hour on tv, probably 45 minutes without commercials, I wished it was longer.

I caught about 15 minutes of the Mania of Wrestlemania and thought it was really good. The part I saw was about the Rock and Stone Cold's match. Stone Cold was in the hospital the night before Wrestlemania. He and the Rock knew this was probably going to be his last match for a long time so it was emotional for both guys.

I am very glad this will be on the disc.

I wonder why they could not have included some complete matches instead of "Greatest Matches in Wrestlemania History"

This looks good...although I've heard mixed reviews on the PPV, that main event looks like it was worth the price of admission.

Seriously, I hope they don't censor The Ultimo Dragon tripping, Stonecold getting hit by a can of bear, or Ric Flair saying "mother ****er"

Oh, and the chants during the Goldberg vs Brock match! I hope these aren't censored!

I was thinking the same thing. It irritates me how they overdubbed Goldbergs new theme on the Monday Night Wars dvd. It might be because the old them was stock music...I have heard in on the History Channel actually.

I think they're down to releasing the DVDs a month after they're on PPV.

The Wrestlemania documentary is a nice extra. Since there was no match on Sunday Nigh Heat this year I wonder what they'll add? I hope they add more on the Hall of Fame since it went about 5+ hours.

There's talk of releasing a DVD just on the Hall of Fame ceremony. There's also talk about a 2 or 3 disc set on the Four Horsemen, as well as a Chris Benoit DVD.

The Benoit disc is more than just "talk". It's gonna happen.

WOW $34.99? Forget that! Too much

Rest were all $19.99, now $34.99?

Wasn't even the best WM.

They should put Bret Hart vs. Austin from WM 13 and a couple others rather than WM 10 greatest matches (clips)

Damn dude - why so cheap? It has three discs, and I remember a few years back when WWF first released their PPVs as DVDs they were around that 30-40$.

I don't know, I got the 18, 19 for $19 and $35 is a lot. But I think 1st week it will be around $24 or something like that one guy said. And yes, remember when those old VHS wrestlemanias were like $39.99. That was crazy, $39.99 back in late 80's is pretty much like $70 in today's world. Funny thing is box always said "ONLY $39.99"

If you can find it release week at the regular B&M places, which is highly unlikely.
