i belive that the Hitchcock 7 movies will comprise of the following:

Dial M For Murder
Foreign Correspondant
Mr and MRs Smith
Stage Freight
Suspicion
The Wrong Man
I Confess

This will leave only Lifeboat, I think, as the only Hitchcock film not available on DVD. Hopefully Fox will add it to their Studio Classics line sometime this year.

Many thanks to bill...

...who has too much free time on his hands...

And also forgot to mention "Heat" which was one of two titles discussed that I actually cared about.

I wonder what WB has against Twighlight Zone: The Movie? Has the TV series sold poorly?
It may have something to do with getting Spielberg's approval for a release. I can't think of any other reason why such a high profile film wouldn't be released.

The Twilight Zone movie involved a lot of big egos and a death. Those are probably keeping it from being released ever.

Well it will be interesting to see what becomes of The Devils. Since they know we want it uncut & uncut only. So what do you supposed will hypothetically happen if the uncut version gets an NC-17 today? Considering they said they won't license stuff to third parties.

Anyway the list of releases looks excellent & appears I will be buying these very releases over the next few years. I still have not even begun to complete my must buys of last year & year before Warner releases! Too much, too little money!

What is up with Freaks? I thought last year, they mentioned it coming out this year?

Also why the hell do people even bother to ask for a 'SE' of The Goonies among others, when the current release IS a SE? It boggles my mind.

Unless they are planning a theatrical run for it, they won't have to submit it for a rating, they can just release it unrated.

Unlike other studios, it's quite well known that Warner Bros and Disney (Buena Vista) have policy against releasing NC-17 or Unrated (w/ NC-17 equivalent material) movies. True Romance is an exception because violence is OK. Sex and nudity -> No.

I doubt that we will see the uncut version of the Devils unless the MPAA re-rated it R uncut like the Damned.

Wasn't the Goodfellas SE coming out next year? Anybody care to shed some light on this?
