Any "in character" commentaries?
 

Has there ever been a DVD released where the cast did commentaries as the characters they play? Example, instead of hearing a commentary by the actor that does the voice for Homer Simpson, you get a commentary by Homer himself?

This seems to me like it would have much potential for hillarity. Never heard one though.

The Muppets did one once, and it was funny for about 30 minutes, then it became clear they had nothing of substance to say.

Boy, was the Notorious C.H.O. "Margaret's mother" commentary not entertaining. The actual comedy performance itself was hilarious, but don't rent it for the commentary.

The Bubba Ho-Tep DVD has a "Bruce Campbell as Elvis" commentary which should be hysterical.

I remember hoping for an in character commentary for South Park the movie, but no luck.
